The new year is off to a good start! We enjoyed our time visiting with Jamie's family over the holidays, then just a few days later, William's family arrived in Utah to visit their first grandchild (and us, too)!
Aside from constantly staring at Kate, we also managed to get in a couple games of bowling, do a little shopping, celebrate Christmas and go snowmobiling! It was all fun, but snowmobiling was a blast! We had never been, and our soon-to-be brother-in-law :) was really interested in going. We drove to Midway and had a 2-hour 'tour' with plenty of playing around and beautiful scenery (the trails through the trees were gorgeous!).
Kate is getting so cute! She always was cute ;), but she's starting to develop a bit more of a personality and is SO close to smiling. She makes noises all the time and loves to snuggle with us (when she's not stretching out all her limbs). It's hard to believe she's almost 7 weeks old!

she's managed to open her mouth, so she's mastered the major part- the whole smiling thing will come soon
I just love the picture of Grandma and Grandpa admiring her for the first time.
Your blog is wonderful! It's lovely to see photos of Kate as she changes.
